Social Services

At King’s Daughters Hospital, social service workers are available to assist patients and their families who need support services during their recovery. Our staff strives to provide comprehensive information regarding community services, including assistance with nursing-home placement. Social Services also offers discharge planning, referral to community services, crisis counseling for patients and families, counseling for cancer patients and terminally ill patients and community service information for pregnant teens or young mothers.
