Areas of Service

King’s Daughters Hospital Auxiliary is a nonprofit charitable organization that provides volunteer services to King’s Daughters Hospital. The volunteers assist patients, staff, and visitors and promote health and well-being throughout the community. Members volunteer in many areas throughout the hospital.

Gift Shop

The King’s Daughters Auxiliary operates the hospital's gift shop. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There are a wide variety of gift items available in the gift shop including fresh flowers, candy, baby gifts, TY products, jewelry, books, magazines, and more. Phone orders can be placed by calling 254-771-8651. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and debit cards.

Junior Volunteer Program

The Auxiliary sponsors a junior volunteer program for teens between the ages of 14 and 18. Twenty-five young adults are accepted into the program each summer.

Emergency Room Volunteer Applications

For persons interested in a profession in the healthcare field, volunteers are needed in the emergency room. Whether you are a high school or college student interested in the medical profession, this is a great opportunity for you!

No medical treatment or care will be dispensed, however, approved applicants will get a close up look at emergency medicine and other healthcare opportunities.
